Xegity: Space pilot

Ianna Zakharov, a space pilot/captain. I wrote the character concept many years ago for my Science-Fiction world, Xegity, and now finally was able to develop it visually.

Ianna was stolen as a baby from a shipment of genetically enhanced humans from an Echelon Biolabs facility on Mars, by a group of infamous space pirates. The mission was a failure and most of the other babies in the transport were killed. Since they were unable to sell her as an individual, she grew up with the pirates and became a rather skilled pilot on the pirate cruiser. However, she was not treated very nicely by them, being essentially adopted against the plan by the pirates. When the cruiser was ultimately attacked and destroyed, she survived and was picked up by a medical shuttle. They did not realize she was one of the pirates, instead thinking of her as a hostage. Wanting to leave her past behind, she did not feel the need to tell them either. She stayed on the medical shuttle for some time as a pilot, where she made some real friends. After a couple of years, with the help of her crew, she obtained her own shuttle and set out with her friends on new adventures in the Rim.
